Considerable experience of leading, managing, interfacing and communicating with all levels of people, both in customer organisation and internally. A management style focused on empowerment of people, laying out clear expectations and how these should be delivered, with an emphasis on allowing individuals to make the right choices. Commercially astute, he has been involved in the management of Profit and Loss, since the early days of his career as well as carrying ultimate responsibility for delivery of a safe, efficient and profitable operation in every single role held in the last 30 years or so.
